Minnesota soldiers hail from each of the state\u2019s 87 counties.\u00a0 87 Story Stones-arranged into clusters of nine northern hemisphere constellations-represent\u00a0those state counties.<\/span><\/p>\n

These stones serve as a unique visual connection between loved ones that are deployed, their families at home, and the shared stars of the night sky.<\/span><\/p>\n

Excerpts from\u00a0correspondence sent between soldiers and family members etched onto these stones provide a window into the lives of our military families and their sacrifices, as well as imparting a strong educational component.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
