William J. Popp, Chairman of the Board
Bill Popp is founder and President POPP Communications. Located in Golden Valley, POPP Communications is a voice, Internet and data communications company helping business professionals use popular communication technologies to support their goals, policies and processes. Bill is Founder, Chair and President of the Minnesota Military Family Foundation, Founder and Chair of the Military Family Tribute and serves on the WCCO Radio Good Neighbor Award™ Board of Advisors, AAA Minneapolis Board of Directors and Northern Star Council Boy Scouts of America Board. Bill was highly involved in the building of the Minnesota Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial as a major contributor and an advisor to the MVVM Board. Bill was honored to speak at the dedication ceremony for the MVVM.

Teri E. Popp, President
Teri E. Popp, a retired attorney and former Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Minnesota, serves on a variety of boards in the areas of health and the arts. Currently, Teri is an Executive Committee member of the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention based in Washington D.C. (NAASP); a board trustee for the Minnesota Orchestral Association (MOA); a foundation trustee for Courage Center, a rehabilitative center located in Golden Valley, Minnesota (CC); a Limited Partner for the Minnesota Timberwolves, NBA team; and the President of the Minnesota Military Family Tribute (MFT). Within those entities, Teri chairs or sits on a number of committees including: Sustainability Committee Chair, Public Awareness Committee, Military Committee (NAASP); Education Chair (MOA); and Nominating Committee Chair (CC). Previously, Teri has sat on the boards of Hamline University, KARE 11’s “Eleven Who Care,” the Minnesota Mayflower Society, WCCO Radio Good Neighbor Award Board, and WAMSO -Minnesota Orchestra Volunteer Association.
Extensive awards for Teri and her husband, Bill Popp’s, philanthropy and work in the community include awards from the Boy Scouts of America, Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF), B’nai B’rith, the Minnesota National Guard, Girl Scouts of America, and the Starkey Hearing Foundation. Bill and his wife, Teri Popp, are part owners of the Minnesota Timberwolves and active in the Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation. Bill and Teri were honored at the 8th annual Starkey® Hearing Foundation So the World May Hear Gala for their significant contributions to humanity. In October 2009 and again in November 2010, Bill and Teri traveled the globe on two POPP Communications sponsored hearing missions through Starkey® Hearing Foundation to help provide thousands of hearing instruments to children. Bill & Teri were also honored by the Senate in the Congressional Record on Feb. 12, 2004 for their support of the military.
Adam Soffer, Secretary
Adam M. Soffer is a principal and co-founder of Soffer Charbonnet Law Group, PLLC. Adam practices in the areas of corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and technology. Adam's experience includes serving as General Counsel to several leading companies in various industries, including technology-focused businesses.

Adam has also authored several articles and lectured on various business and technology issues. Adam received his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law (cum laude), his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from The George Washington University, and he also attended Villanova University.
Adam is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association (Corporate Counsel, Business Law, Communications Law and Practice Management and Marketing Sections).  Adam has served on the Policy Committee of America's Carriers Telecommunications Association (ACTA), as a member of the Business Development Committee of the Eden Prairie, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and has served as Pro Bono Legal Counsel to WAMSO - Minnesota Orchestra Volunteer Association.  Adam is licensed to practice in the State of Minnesota.
Karrie Willis, Treasurer
Karrie Willis is the VP of Operations & Finance for POPP Communications. Karrie is a Certified Public Accountant and has over 15 years of experience in financial management positions. Karrie is a member of the Finance Committee of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Twin Cities and a committee member for the Minnesota Military Family Foundation Annual Golf Tournament. Karrie received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin.
Mary Niemeyer, Past President
Mary Niemeyer is a marketing executive with nearly 30 years of media and public affairs experience. Her career in media sales and sales management began in 1983 with KROC Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. She was recruited by CBS Radio Minneapolis in 1998. She was promoted to Vice President of sales in 2001. In 2004, Mary became the first female to serve as Vice President/ General Manager of WCCO-AM, WLTE-FM and JACK-FM in the Twin Cities. She founded Elations Group in 2009. The Twin Cities-based PR and Marketing consulting firm specializes in media relations for non-profit organizations. Her marketing and management expertise expanded to outdoor advertising in November, 2010 when she assumed the position of Vice President/ General Manager of Olympus Media LLC, formerly Collins Outdoor in La Crosse.
Mary has been heavily involved in community and civic organizations in numerous capacities including President of the Minnesota Chapter of American Women in Media, President of the Military Family Tribute and was named Commodore of the 2008 Minneapolis Aquatennial. She has served on many non-profit boards including the Museum of Broadcast History, Minnesota Military Family Foundation, Meet Minneapolis, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Best Prep. She has also been an active member of Twin Cities Dunkers and the Twin Cities Communication Council. In 2004, Mary was named by the Minneapolis Business Journal as one the “Top 25 Women to Watch.”   She was also nominated for a Radio Wayne Award as one of the Top General Managers in Radio and received a 2009 AWRT Diamond Award for Member of the Year.
Mary is a St. Paul native and recently resided in Woodbury, Minnesota with her husband and two children. She is now proud to call beautiful La Crosse, Wisconsin and the Coulee Region her home.
